Keep it up

It looks okay, but is too hard to use, snice ths trings are hard to click as you say. I guess tuning my guitar with it would be rather frustrating. Perhaps you can zoom in on the guitar more? It would make a big difference.

Poetic platformer

Lol, this isn't a very good flash, but it is a cute idea - to make a platformer from your favorite girl. Maybe it's strange, but in a very basic way it's also very poetic.

Interesting

It was definitely an interesting toy, although it didn't make much sense before I read the other reviews here. You should add some clear instructions explaining the sequence of actions and the goals. Seeing the final 'crystal' also wasn't very satisfactory for some reason. Maybe if the constellation had more direct impact on the music or the graphics there would be a better feeling of synaesthesis. It's obvious you put a lot of effort into it, so it's a shame if you don't bother to explain the concept a little better.

Yup

I get the same bugs described below. Also, I think you should make the background more interesting then the solid green. Keep it up though, seems you're close to having your own platformer engine.

Why?

Why did you make this? I can see you will have learned some flash from making this, but do you honestly think people want to Google or use a calculator or play unfinished mini-games through your flash? Those are standard features of most operating systems/browsers, so you have to offer something really new or at leawst much higher quality in order to win anybody over. I think you should focus on one of the minigames and make it into a proper game, but forget about the wholestage idea.

Suits the purpose

From a marketing point of view, the game was very well made, with a nice and effective interface. The competition and email collection is also clever, and I like how the game didn't bug me about the product until after the game.

Sure, the game elements could have been more gamey, but it's pretty good and the right length for an advergame.

Very good for a first game

I played it for a bit and think the concept is very good for a first game. I think it could do with better graphics and more intuitive menus, and some more info boxes on issues like battle, buying units etc. I played as Spain, but when I tried to invade Portugal using a single tank, it got blown up by the tower cannon - but the battle didn't end, and there was no back button, so eventually I had to just close down the game. Seems like a bug, hope it's alright that I report it. Keep it up though, it's a pretty good strategy game concept.

Reviewing unfinished stuff

The background is cool, but you should make the tiefighter less static and make it shoot proper lasers (beams like in the movies, not bullets). Right now it's hardly a game, hence the low score.

polyrhythmm responds:

its not a game... its a demo... if i had made them shoot back... then i would have finished it.

Okay engine

The engine seems okay - but you should make a game to show what it's capable of, since it's kind of hard to judge from just one room. Are you going to make the engine open source?

iluvAS responds:

HELL YEA IM MAKING A GAME OUTTVE IT! ive worked on the engine and just decided to post it on ng as i just want to see ppls responses ^^ and no it wont be open source.

Cool!

I really like this game - simple concept but a lot of fun.
