I'm a letters guy, not a numbers guy, so the below comment notwithstanding I found it to be extremely enjoyable. Quite a brilliant puzzle. Got lost in it there for a while.

Assuming the game mechanics work exactly like they do in 2048, this is just a reskin because there are just as many steps from A to K as there are steps from 2 to 2048. Therefore, the strategies that work in the number version should work here
